Complex linguistically means complicated. Islamic boarding schools are the earliest Islamic educational institutions in this republic that compete with colonialism-style formal education. Even so, Its existence today needs to be maintained and improved in quality with good management so that it is not only able to survive but also compete with other formal education models in society..
